Project Commands

Project commands can be accessed by right clicking a project in the extension tree.

Backup Project/Workspace

Available on Project and Workspace tree items

Backs up all scripts and configs in the project into a zip file. The backup also includes information about the project, scripts, and configs.

Clear Focused Project

If you have focused on a single project (see Focus Project), clears the focus and returns to showing all projects in the extension panels.

Create a Project Admin Group

Available on Project and Workspace tree items

Creates a new Project Admin user group with full permissions to the project. The user can provide a name for the user group or accept the default "Admin" name.

Delete Project/Workspace

Available on Project and Workspace tree items

Deletes the selected project or workspace. Not available on all environments or applications.

Deploy Template to Project

Deploy a template package to the selected project.

For more on Templates and Template Packages see twinit.dev.

Focus Project

Focuses the extension on the selected project, hiding all other projects in extension panels.

Get All Project Files Local

Available on Project and Workspace tree items

Gets all files in a project managed by the IDE Extension to your local workspace

Manage Secrets

Opens a form to create, update, and delete Passport secrets for the project.

Secrets are ideal for MCP authentication headers and other credentials your Twinit resources need. Secrets can be used to back header values when configuring External MCP Servers in the AI Service panel.

Upload AI Key

Available on Project and Workspace tree items

Uploads an AI key or token to the appropriate location in the Passport Service. The Twinit AI Service then uses this token when communicating with AI services.
